ThermoSafe’s Sustainability Commitments & Reporting

For many years, ThermoSafe contributed to the broader sustainability journey of Sonoco and that foundation has shaped how we approach sustainability today. In November 2025, ThermoSafe became a standalone company under Arsenal Capital Partners, and we reached an inflection point where we could now define, articulate, and advance our own sustainability strategy.

As we build the next chapter of ThermoSafe’s sustainability program, we are focused on establishing a transparent, credible, and science-aligned framework for measuring and reducing our environmental impact.

Sonoco has Science Based Targets since 2021

Our Emissions reduction targets were validated in 2021 by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a partnership between CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, World Resources Institute, and the World Wildlife Fund for Nature.

Sonoco reports into CDP each year.

The CDP is an international non-profit organisation based in the United Kingdom, Japan, India, China, Germany, Brazil and the United States of America that helps companies and cities disclose their environmental impact.

Commitments

Throughout 2026 and beyond, we will formalize our reduction commitments and publish progress updates. Our goal is not only to meet industry expectations but to lead with integrity, ensuring that our products, operations, and partnerships contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.

Sustainability at ThermoSafe

To reflect our progress prior to becoming a standalone company, we continue to reference the Sonoco 2024 Sustainability report. ThermoSafe’s sustainability performance, data, and program development  is captured within Sonoco’s reporting framework, providing continuity as we build and publish our own commitments going forward.
